How to Apply
- Download the physical application form from the AIIMS Examination Portal.
- Complete the form and attach self-attested copies of the documents required by the notification.
- Submit the form and supporting documents to Academic Section-II, AIIMS, New Delhi. Applications must reach the office between 21 October 2026 and 31 October 2026, by 5:00 PM.
Only physical applications are accepted. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
Eligibility

Applicants must have passed MBBS, including internship, between 1 November 2023 and 31 October 2026. Permanent Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or State Medical Council registration is mandatory at joining. |
Applicants must be Indian citizens, including OCI/PIO candidates. The notification states no experience requirement.
Documents to Prepare
- Date of birth certificate, 10th mark sheet or passing certificate
- MBBS mark sheets and provisional or final degree certificate
- Category certificate, where applicable (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWBD). OBC-NCL and EWS certificates must be based on FY 2025–2026 income and issued between 1 April 2026 and 31 October 2026.
- Permanent DMC or State Medical Council registration
- FMGE scorecard, for foreign medical graduates
- INI-CET scorecard with rank for July 2026
- Internship certificate showing completion between 1 November 2023 and 31 October 2026
- Disability certificate meeting the notification’s requirements, for PWBD candidates
Bring the original certificates for verification at counselling. Candidates without originals will not be permitted to attend.
Salary
Pay is at Level 10 of the pay matrix, with entry pay of Rs. 56,100 per month plus usual admissible allowances. The appointment is for the remaining tenure up to 31 December 2026.

Selection Process
Selection is through counselling based on a merit list prepared from the last INI-CET rank for July 2026 and aggregate MBBS percentage, or FMGE score for foreign graduates. Counselling intimation will be sent by email.
Applicants who do not join after being allotted a post at counselling must pay a penalty of one month’s salary for the release of original documents submitted at counselling.
