Eligibility
The notice gives the following qualifications and experience requirements for the Data Scientist (AI & ML) post:
- Education: B.Tech./B.E., M.Tech./M.S. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, AI/ML or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience: At least four years in data science, machine learning or applied AI; six or more years is preferred. Applicants must also have at least three years developing models or AI systems deployed in production or used in operational decisions.
- Demonstrable end-to-end ownership of at least two models or AI systems, hands-on experience with at least one LLM or deep-learning application deployed for end users, and experience in at least two of the listed technical areas are also specified.
An advanced degree or published applied work in machine learning, NLP, computer vision or statistics is described as highly desirable. The notice also says candidates with strong verifiable work may be considered in lieu of formal qualification. Age Limit
Maximum age is 55 years on the application closing date. The notice does not specify a minimum age.

The stated budget is a maximum of up to 40 LPA. The position is purely contractual, initially for three years, and may be extended according to project requirements.
