Eligibility
Post: Senior Project Associate — 1 vacancy.
Essential qualification: A master’s degree in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Transportation Engineering from a recognized university, plus two years’ experience in research and development in an industrial or academic institution or a science and technology organization, and in scientific activities and services.
Desirable: Field and/or laboratory testing experience. GATE-qualified candidates may be preferred.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 40 years. The stated age relaxation is 5 years for SC, ST, PwBD and women candidates, and 3 years for OBC candidates, or as per applicable Government of India instructions. Candidates claiming relaxation should bring the required original category certificate in the proper format.
Salary
Monthly emoluments are Rs. 42,000 plus HRA. The engagement is for six months or until the project ends, whichever is earlier, subject to the stated overall limit of six years for project personnel across projects.
Selection Process
Selection is through a walk-in interview. If many candidates attend, the Selection Committee may shortlist candidates using criteria it sets. The final decision on allowing a candidate to appear for interview rests with the Director, CSIR-CRRI.
Documents to Prepare
- Original certificates and self-attested copies of certificates and testimonials.
- Valid identity proof: Voter ID card, PAN card, driving licence, passport or Aadhaar card.
- One passport-size photograph.
- Completed application form (Annexure-I), to be brought for submission at the interview.
- For candidates whose higher degree is ongoing under AcSIR or a university with which CSIR or a CSIR laboratory has signed an MoU: NOC in the enclosed Annexure-II format.
The notice states that candidates will not be allowed to appear for the interview without original certificates.
