Applicants must be Indian citizens. Reservation and relaxation benefits are applicable only to Bihar State domicile candidates.
Documents to Prepare
- Completed prescribed application form.
- Demand Draft for the applicable application fee.
- Copies of supporting documents for age, qualification, reservation and caste.
- Original certificates and documents for verification before the interview.
- No Objection Certificate from the employer, if employed in a Government or Semi-Government department.
- For EBC (MBC)/BC candidates: caste certificate issued by the Circle Officer of the respective district/circle and a certificate of exemption from the Creamy Layer.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 45 years as on 7 February 2026. Relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for EBC/BC candidates and female candidates of all categories.

Selection Process
Selection consists of document verification followed by an interview. Minimum qualifying criteria are UR: 50th percentile; BC/EBC/EWS: 45th percentile; SC/ST: 40th percentile.
Assessment for the ad-hoc appointment is based on academic qualifications and subject knowledge, with a total of 100 marks.
