MAHE is recruiting a Junior Research Fellow for a Department of Biotechnology-funded project at the School of Electrical Engineering, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal. The project focuses on hydrogen generation from agriculture waste using a Zymomonas mobilis-driven electrochemical system.
Eligibility
Essential qualification: M.Sc, M.Tech or B.Tech in Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Nanotechnology, or a relevant branch of technology or life sciences.
Mandatory requirements: Basic knowledge of microbiological techniques, genetics, thin films and nanomaterials.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- UGC-CSIR, NET, GATE or DBT-BET qualification.
- Experience in genetic modulation of bacteria or in the synthesis and development of thin films or nanomaterials.
- Scientific writing experience, peer-reviewed publications and strong communication skills.

Salary
