Eligibility
The listed qualifications are:
- A three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject field and three years of experience; or
- A postgraduate degree in life science, molecular biology, or infectious disease biology.

Desirable qualifications include a basic understanding of cell culture; experience or interest in microscopy, protein biochemistry, or structural biology; experience in a BSL-2 laboratory; prior experience in infectious disease research or haematology; and availability to travel to partnering institutions in the Northeast for field sample collection and research.

Applicants must be below 30 years as of 1 November 2026.
Salary
The monthly emolument is ₹28,000 plus HRA. The initial appointment is for one year or until the project ends, whichever is earlier. The tenure may be extended based on performance evaluation.
