Eligibility
Project Research Scientist II (Non-Medical): Postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry or Biological Sciences, including integrated postgraduate degrees, with three years’ experience, or a Ph.D.
Essential experience: Cell culture techniques, molecular biology techniques, secretome isolation, proteomics analysis, 3D culture and animal experimentation. Experience, where prescribed, must be gained after acquiring the essential qualification.
Desirable: Ph.D. and experience in exosome isolation and characterization.
The listed vacancy is one ST post. If no eligible ST candidates are available, SC candidates will be considered; if no eligible SC candidates are available, UR candidates will be considered.
Documents to Prepare
- Duly filled Recruitment Report Form and bio-data.
- Originals and self-attested copies of certificates proving age, qualifications and experience.
- For ST/SC candidates: valid caste certificate in the prescribed format for employment in Central Government institutions, issued by a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar.
- For candidates already in service: No Objection Certificate from the present employer.
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 40 years as on 1 November 2026.
Salary
Rs. 67,000 per month plus 20% HRA.
Important Dates
The appointment is initially for a period up to 13 September 2027 and is likely to be extended up to 13 September 2030.
Selection Process
Depending on the number of candidates, a qualifying written test may be held for initial screening. Only candidates who qualify will be called for interview. If conducted, written-test marks will not count towards the final ranking. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
