How to Apply
- Download the application form from the official website or obtain its format from the Civil Court, Gaya notice board.
- Complete the form with the required personal and professional details. Attach the documents specified below.
- Submit the application by hand on a working day to the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Gaya, at the Old Commissioner Building, near Guest House, Gaya, Pin – 823001, or to the Secretary, Sub-divisional Legal Services Committee, at the Sub-divisional Civil Court, Sherghati.
Applications are accepted from 15 October to 5 November 2026, up to 5:00 PM. Postal or other submission methods are not indicated. Applicants who already applied under advertisement 02/2024 need not apply again.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be Indian citizens and residents of Gaya.
- Applicants must be active members of the Bihar State Bar Council and the relevant local Bar Association or Sub-divisional Bar Association, Sherghati.
- Applicants must have more than three years of legal practice experience and an interest in legal services work.
- Applicants must have good character and be physically and mentally sound.
- Applicants must not have been barred by a competent court or authority from holding a responsible office. Any criminal case or conviction must be disclosed as required by the notice.

- Self-attested passport-size photographs.
- Membership certificates from the Bihar State Bar Council and the relevant Bar Association.
