Eligibility
Applicants must be Indian citizens, Bonafide Himachalis, medically fit, of sound mind, and permanent residents of the area under Jal Shakti Circle, Reckong Peo, District Kinnaur. The notice also states that no family member of the candidate should be employed in a Government, PSU or Board job, and that the candidate must never have been involved in a criminal act.

Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age.
Salary
- Para Cook: Rs. 9,000 per month.
- Para Helper: Rs. 5,500 per month.
These are honorarium-based posts and do not form part of the department’s cadre. The notice states that appointment does not give appointees a right to claim regularisation. Working hours are six hours per day.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit, with a maximum of 10 marks:

Eligible candidates will be informed separately of the skill-test date after document scrutiny. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the skill test.

- Matriculation certificate showing detailed marks. Applications without the detailed marks are liable to rejection.
- For Para Cook applicants: the specified degree or diploma, or proof of at least five years’ cooking or catering experience.
- Bonafide Himachali certificate.
- Non-Employment Certificate regarding family members’ employment in a Government, PSU or Board job.
- Valid character certificate issued by a First Class Magistrate.
- Medical fitness certificate.
- Certificate relating to never having been involved in a criminal act.
- BPL certificate issued within the last six months, if applicable.
- Related-field experience certificate, if applicable.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
How to Apply
Submit a completed application on the prescribed proforma, with the required self-attested documents, by post or in person to the Office of the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Division Reckong Peo, District Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh. It must reach the office by 7 November 2026, 5:00 PM. Applications received late or found incomplete will be rejected, and the department is not responsible for postal delays.
The proforma can be obtained from the Executive Engineer’s office on a working day or downloaded from the official departmental website. Submit a separate application for each post if applying for more than one.
