Eligibility

| Assistant Professor (Genetics & Plant Breeding and Plant Pathology) | Master’s degree in the relevant subject of the Agricultural faculty, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade (6.50 on a 10.00 scale) and a good academic record. NET is compulsory for candidates with a Master’s degree, along with one publication in a NAAS-related referred journal in the relevant discipline. NET may be waived for candidates with a Ph.D. completed with coursework prescribed under UGC Regulation 2009, provided they have at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of at least 4. |
If eligible candidates are unavailable, PG candidates may, in exigent cases and with approval from the competent authority, be considered for a period-based part-time appointment for one semester.

Age Limit
Maximum age is 40 years. A five-year relaxation applies to SC, ST, OBC and women candidates under Chhattisgarh Government rules.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive an honorarium as per VV Order No. क्रमांक/स्था-04/नस्ती क-49/2022/2731/रायपुर, dated 01/08/2022.
The engagement is contractual for one academic session or until a regular teacher is appointed, whichever is earlier. The post is temporary and does not provide a right to claim regular appointment. Services may be withdrawn with one week’s notice if performance is unsatisfactory.
