Eligibility
Only Indian nationals can apply. The notice gives these qualifications for the respective posts:

The notice says the NET/GATE requirement may be relaxed for CFTI graduates with a CGPA above 8.000 (80% aggregate marks); it also states “NET/GATE qualified candidates only.” |

A 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC/ST candidates. Desirable experience is also listed in the notification; applicants should check it for the post-specific details.
Project fellows will regularly visit NCR-based thermal power plants to collect samples, analyse data and study foam from FGD units. The work also involves coordination with IIT Delhi and NTPC’s NCR thermal power plants.
Salary
- Research Associate: ₹58,000 per month, consolidated.
- JRF/SRF: ₹37,000 or ₹42,000 per month, plus HRA at 30%.
- Jr. Project Assistant (Tech.): ₹30,000 per month, consolidated.
Appointments are contractual. The notice says they are renewable yearly or up to the project duration, whichever is earlier. The project duration is 18 months from 1 April 2026. For a selected retired or superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed according to the IRD norms in force at that time.
