Age Limit

Selection Process
- Assistant Professor: Academic Score shortlisting under UGC Regulations 2018, followed by an interview. The score is used for shortlisting; selection is based on interview performance.
- Superintendent: Competitive test, followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates.
- Senior Assistant: Punjabi typing test in Unicode Font Raavi and English typing test at 30 words per minute, followed by a skill test for candidates who pass.
The notice does not specify the selection process for Assistant Registrar, System Administrator, Programmer or Law Researcher.
Documents to Prepare
- Scanned photograph and signature in JPEG format, each no larger than 150 KB.
- Five printouts of the submitted online application, each bearing the same passport-size photograph uploaded with the application.
- One set of self-attested educational and professional qualification certificates, including degrees and DMCs; include the CGPA/OGPA conversion formula where applicable.
- Experience certificate.
- Reserved-category certificate from the competent authority, if applicable.
- Punjab State Domicile Certificate or Punjab Residence Certificate for reserved-category candidates.
- NOC from the employer, to be produced at interview by applicants already in service.
How to Apply
- Register and complete the online application between 24 October and 15 November 2026. Fill every mandatory field; the notice says changes are not allowed after submission.
- Upload the required documents and pay the fee online. Only documents uploaded with the application will be considered.
- Print five copies of the application and affix the same passport-size photograph uploaded online. Send them with one set of self-attested certificates to the Registrar, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Punjab State Open University, Mohindra Kothi, Fountain Chownk, Patiala-147001, Punjab. The hard copy must arrive by 5:00 pm on 23 November 2026; late submissions will not be considered.
- Applicants already in service must forward their application through the proper channel.
