The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar Research & Development Office is advertising this position for the Center for Creative Learning.
Eligibility
Essential qualifications: Applicants must meet one of these listed routes:
- M.Sc. in Mathematics; or
- B.Tech./B.E. in a Mathematics-related engineering or technical field, with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience; or
- B.Sc. with Mathematics, with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience.
Applicants must have at least 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards, and at least 55% or equivalent grade in Classes 10 and 12.
Desirable background: Experience teaching Mathematics to students in grades 8–12; communication and facilitation skills; professional fluency in written and spoken English and spoken Hindi; digital documentation skills; experience designing or conducting hands-on activities; and one year of experience writing textbook chapters or developing learning modules for grades 8–12 in ed-tech.
Role responsibilities: Create and maintain hands-on Mathematics modules and a resource repository for grades 6–12; adapt, test and optimise activities, models and prototypes; prepare manuals, chapters, worksheets, presentations, videos and articles; develop school-ready models with product specifications; and coordinate and conduct content testing in schools.
Salary
Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 90,000 per month.
