The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (Research & Development Office) is recruiting one Assistant Scientific Officer for the Center for Creative Learning’s “30-30 Eklavya 2024-26” project.
Eligibility
The notice lists these qualification and experience routes. Applicants must check which criteria apply to their selected post:
- Ph.D. in Physics or a Physics-related engineering or technical field, with a very good academic record throughout and at least 4 years of post-qualification experience.
- M.Tech. or M.S. in Physics or a Physics-related engineering or technical field, with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience.
- B.Tech., B.E. or M.Sc. in Physics or a related engineering or technical field, with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.

Desirable experience and skills include school STEM education using hands-on and inquiry-based learning; strong Physics knowledge at Classes 11–12 level; teaching Physics to Classes 11–12 or UG/PG students; designing learning materials; conducting experiments and using laboratory instruments; and communication, facilitation and digital documentation skills. It also specifies professional fluency in spoken and written English and spoken Hindi.
Salary
The consolidated pay is Rs. 87,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month, depending on the candidate’s qualification and experience. The appointment is for one year and may be extended based on performance.
