Age Limit
Applicants must be 18 to 35 years old as of 1 January 2026. For Chhattisgarh local residents, the upper age limit is 40 years; with applicable state-government relaxations, the maximum age cannot exceed 45 years.
The notification also provides relaxations for specified categories, including Chhattisgarh government and corporation, board, or other employees; retrenched government servants; ex-servicemen; voluntary home guards; widows, abandoned and divorced women; and certain award recipients. Salary

Application Fees

Selection Process
- Written examination: 25 multiple-choice questions worth 2 marks each (50 marks total), with a 45-minute duration. Subjects include General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mathematics and General Mental Ability.
- Skill test: A 10-minute typing test worth 250 marks. Candidates type a passage of approximately 250 words on a computer using Ubuntu Linux, LibreOffice and a Unicode font. One mark is deducted for each omitted word or error; formatting mistakes are also treated as errors.
Candidates shortlisted from the written examination will be called for the skill test in a 1:10 ratio per post. A category-wise waiting list based on skill-test scores will remain valid for up to one year.
