Eligibility
- Post: Technical Expert (Technology and Digitization), full time.
- Qualifications: Graduate Degree in Computer Science, MCA, or P.G. Diploma in Computer Science.
- Experience: At least 2 years in manuscript handling, digital imaging, metadata and data management.
- Knowledge of scripts is an added advantage.
The role is at the Gyan Bharatam Cluster Centre, Karnataka Samskrit University, Bengaluru. Duties include manuscript handling and digitization, image capture, metadata creation and validation, quality checks, compliance with digitization standards, status reporting, and archival storage and KDR integration.
Salary
Remuneration is Rs. 40,000 per month. The engagement is temporary and contractual for eleven months, subject to approved project provisions and applicable terms and conditions.
Selection Process
Selection is through a walk-in interview. Candidates must report for document verification before the interview and produce their original certificates for verification.
