Eligibility
The notice lists the following essential qualifications for the Instrumentation and Software Integration Engineer post:
- B.Tech and/or a master’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physics, Optics or Biotechnology.
Demonstrable industry experience or an internship is preferred. A qualification in CSIR-UGC NET (including Lectureship/Assistant Professorship), GATE, or a national-level examination conducted by Central Government departments, agencies or institutions is preferred but not essential.
Age Limit
Applicants must be below 40 years as on 1 November 2026. Age relaxation will be given as per Government of India norms.
Salary
The consolidated emolument is ₹50,000 per month. The appointment is initially for one year or until the project ends, whichever is earlier, and may be extended based on performance evaluation. The position is co-terminus with the project and does not entitle the selected candidate to a future position at RGCB.
