Eligibility
This deputation post is for IRSE officials at SAG/NFSAG/SG level. The notice lists 18 years of Group A service for an SG IRSE officer. Applicants should check the circular for the conditions applicable to their service level.
Age Limit
The applicant must be no more than 57 years old on the last date for submission of the application.
Salary
Pay is at 7th CPC matrix Level-13 or Level-14, according to grade. The officer is entitled to parent pay plus deputation allowance and other perks admissible on deputation, as per Railway Board guidelines. RITES will provide company or leased accommodation as per entitlement.
The normal deputation tenure is three years and may be extended depending on requirements and performance. The post is based in Mumbai, but the officer may be posted elsewhere in India or abroad as required.
Selection Process
Selection uses a 100-point marking system: educational qualification (15 points), Vigilance/DAR record (10), performance in service based on APARs for five years (25), and interview performance (50). The interview assesses domain knowledge, work experience, managerial competency and overall suitability. Candidates scoring 60% or above qualify for consideration according to merit.

- Register in the format available in the Career Section of the RITES website. The system generates a Registration No. on the online form.
- Print and sign the form showing the Registration No. Attach it to the Annexure III application and detailed CV.
- Send the application through your administrative officer (HOD), with the required documents, so that it reaches RITES by 28 October 2026. An advance copy in Annexure III format with the detailed CV is also requested.
The notice says an advance copy may not be considered if the forwarded application and required documents do not arrive within the stipulated period.
