Eligibility
For Teaching Associate (Crop Physiology), candidates must meet the applicable qualification and experience requirements:
- Ph.D. in the relevant subject; or a Master’s Degree in the relevant subject; or a four- or five-year Bachelor’s Degree with first division or equivalent overall grade point average.
- At least three years of relevant teaching or research experience, evidenced by a fellowship, associateship, training or other engagement.
- One research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal or a journal with a NAAS rating of 4.0 or higher.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences, a three-year Bachelor’s Degree and a two-year Master’s Degree must have NET qualification.
The position is temporary and contractual, for up to 11 months or until the University fills the regular post, whichever is earlier. The engagement does not confer a right to regular appointment.

Age Limit
Upper age limit: 40 years for men and 45 years for women.
Salary
- Master’s Degree holders: Rs. 61,000 per month plus applicable HRA.
- Ph.D. degree holders: Rs. 67,000 per month plus applicable HRA.
HRA is payable at applicable state government rates, which may change under government orders.
