How to Apply

- Upload the required photograph, live photograph, thumb impression and signature in the formats and sizes specified in the application instructions.
- Pay the fee online using UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card or Debit Card.
- Generate and save the Confirmation Page. Submission is complete only after this page is generated.
The correction window is scheduled for 12 October 2026 to 14 October 2026. Up to two corrections are permitted, except for Name, Category, Date of Birth and Mobile Number. The stated charges are Rs. 200 for the first correction and Rs. 500 for the second.
Eligibility
Applicants must be citizens of India or subjects of Nepal, as per Government of India instructions. Nepal subjects must produce a Government of India certificate of eligibility before receiving an offer of appointment.

Qualifications must be from an institution recognised by the Government of India or approved by a government regulatory body. The final result must have been declared by 5 October 2026. Candidates already in government service must notify their department or office and produce a No Objection Certificate at Document Verification/Interview if successful.
Documents to Prepare
- Scanned colour passport-size photograph in JPEG format, 100–200 KB, not more than three months old, with three-quarter face coverage.
- Live photograph matching the uploaded passport photograph.
- Scanned left-hand thumb impression in JPEG format, 50–200 KB. A right-hand thumb impression may be used if the left is unavailable.
- Scanned signature in JPEG format, 50–150 KB. Illegible or capital-letter signatures will be rejected.
- Nepal subjects: Government of India certificate of eligibility, where applicable.
- Government employees: No Objection Certificate at Document Verification/Interview, if successful.
- Applicants claiming reservation: valid certificates for the claimed category. OBC candidates must have a Delhi-issued OBC certificate and a Non-Creamy Layer certificate issued in FY 2026–27; EWS candidates must have the prescribed Income and Asset Certificate valid on the last application date.
At examination stages, candidates must carry two passport-size colour photographs matching the uploaded photographs and one original photo ID, such as Aadhaar, Driving Licence, Voter ID, PAN Card, University/College/Government ID, Employer ID or ESM Discharge Book.
Age Limit
Applicants must be 18 to 32 years old as on 1 January 2026, born not earlier than 2 January 1994 and not later than 1 January 2008. Age is determined from the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or equivalent.

Other relaxations stated in the notice include up to 40 years for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of married women, as per Government of Delhi instructions. There is no upper age limit for persons already in regular service at the Delhi High Court, subject to the educational qualification; this does not apply to employees of other government departments, PSUs or Delhi District Courts. PwBD relaxation applies to candidates with benchmark disability of at least 40% in the specified reserved disability categories.

Selection Process
Both posts have four stages: English Typing Test, English Shorthand Test, Main (Descriptive) Examination and Interview. The typing test is qualifying only. Final merit is based on marks from the shorthand test, main examination and interview.

Ties are resolved by Stage II marks, then Stage III marks, then Stage IV marks, and finally date of birth, with the older candidate preferred. The notice states that no candidate, including PwBD candidates, is exempt from any stage; no scribe or compensatory time is provided.
