Eligibility

- Essential education: Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Desirable education: Postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university.
- Essential experience: At least 11 years in business development, key account management or a similar role.
- Preferable knowledge and experience: Understanding of government procurement processes; knowledge of GFR, DoE procurement guidelines and the GeM procurement framework; and the ability to analyse procurement cases and suggest practical solutions.
- Required skills: People, relationship and leadership skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; business acumen and a results-oriented approach; communication and decision-making skills; ownership and self-motivation; MS Office knowledge, including PowerPoint and Excel; data analytics and reporting using a BI tool; handling confidential communications; and analysing tenders and preparing detailed reports.
GeM’s selection committee may relax or extend the eligibility criteria and educational qualifications.
