Eligibility
The notice lists these qualifications and conditions. Applicants should check the official notification for discipline-specific eligibility for their selected post; it does not map different qualifications to individual posts.
- A Master’s degree in the relevant subject of Agriculture or Agricultural Engineering faculty, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of 6.50 on a 10-point scale, and a good academic record.
- NET qualification conducted by ICAR or UGC, along with one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal.
- NET may be waived for candidates with a Ph.D. completed with coursework under UGC Regulations 2009, provided they have at least two full-length publications rated not less than 4 by NAAS by the application deadline. A Ph.D. without coursework does not qualify for this exemption.
- UGC-prescribed qualifications apply to Basic Science subjects, and AICTE-prescribed qualifications apply to Basic Engineering/Technology subjects.
- In special circumstances, if suitably qualified candidates are unavailable, a candidate with a Master’s degree in the relevant subject may be engaged on a per-period basis for one year.

- High School/Matriculation certificate as proof of date of birth.
- Higher Secondary/Intermediate certificate and mark sheet.
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree certificates and transcripts/mark sheets.
- Doctoral degree certificate and transcript, if applicable.
- ICAR/UGC NET qualification certificate, if applicable.
- Publication list in bibliographic format and reprints from NAAS-rated journals.
- Certificates for academic excellence medals at UG, PG or Ph.D. level, if applicable.
- Experience certificates or appointment orders, if applicable.
- Caste certificate for SC, ST or OBC candidates.
- Chhattisgarh domicile certificate if claiming state reservation or age relaxation.
- Disability certificate for PwD candidates.
- Extra-curricular certificates, if applicable.
- No Objection Certificate and employer endorsement for candidates currently in service.
Age Limit
The maximum age is 40 years. A five-year relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC and female candidates under Chhattisgarh State Government rules, subject to an overall upper age limit of 45 years. Any later revision by the State Government will also apply.
Salary
- Relevant-subject Ph.D. and NET qualified: Rs. 1,800 per working day, up to Rs. 40,000 per month.
- Relevant-subject Ph.D. qualified: Rs. 1,800 per working day, up to Rs. 40,000 per month.
- Relevant-subject Master’s degree and NET passed: Rs. 1,500 per working day, up to Rs. 36,000 per month.
- Relevant-subject Master’s degree only: Rs. 1,200 per working day, up to Rs. 26,000 per month.
No other allowances are admissible. The engagement is temporary and on a per-day honorarium basis.

Selection Process
Selection will be based on merit, scorecard and a walk-in interview, assessed alongside academic performance, research publications and relevant experience.
