How to Apply
- Download the prescribed application form and notification from the MCD website under Recruitment.
- Complete all columns in the application form.
- Arrange one set of self-attested photocopies of the required documents in the specified order, with one passport-size photograph.
- Obtain a Demand Draft or Pay Order for the applicable fee in favour of “COMMISSIONER, MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI”, payable at Delhi.
- Report for registration and physical verification of original documents at Mata Gujri Hospital between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM on 29 October 2026.
- Attend the walk-in interview from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Mata Gujri Hospital, Administration Department, Block-11, near Tilak Nagar Metro Station, New Delhi-110018.
Eligibility

Non-PG candidates may apply only for two Pediatrics posts: UR-1 and OBC-1.
Engagement is initially for one year. For PG candidates only, it may be extended one year at a time up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory work performance and conduct. No private practice is allowed.
Documents to Prepare
- Completed application form and one passport-size photograph
- Original SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate, if applicable
- MCI, State Medical Council, or DMC registration certificate; valid DMC registration
- Age proof (10th certificate) and address proof
- Medical fitness certificate from a Government Medical Officer at the walk-in interview
- Year-wise MBBS and MD/MS/DNB/diploma mark sheets, and degree or diploma certificates
- Identity proof, such as Aadhaar card, voter ID card, driving licence, or passport
- Experience certificates
- Any publications, if applicable
- No Objection Certificate from the current employer, if in service
- Family income certificate for EWS candidates
- Self-attested photocopies of the relevant documents in the specified order
- Demand Draft or Pay Order for the applicable fee
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 45 years as on the last day of submission of the application.
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years’ relaxation
- OBC candidates: 3 years’ relaxation
- PwD candidates: 10 years’ relaxation
Salary
Pay Matrix Level-11, plus usual admissible allowances.
Senior Residents are not entitled to benefits available to regular government servants, including provident fund, pension, gratuity, medical treatment, seniority, promotion, and accommodation.

- Walk-in interview and document verification: 29 October 2026, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Registration is from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.
- Tentative result publication: First week of November 2026
If vacancies remain unfilled, weekly walk-in interviews will be held every Thursday at Mata Gujri Hospital until the posts are filled.
