Eligibility
Both posts require a Master’s degree in the relevant subject of the Agriculture faculty, with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade of 6.50 on a 10-point scale, and a good academic record.
NET is compulsory, along with one publication in a NAAS-rated refereed journal, in disciplines where NET is conducted. NET may be waived for candidates with a Ph.D. completed with coursework prescribed under UGC Regulations 2009, provided they have at least two full-length publications with a NAAS rating of at least 4 by the application deadline. A Ph.D. without coursework does not qualify for the NET exemption.

Age Limit
The maximum age is 40 years. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and women may receive up to 5 years’ age relaxation under Chhattisgarh Government rules, subject to a maximum age of 45 years. Any amended maximum age limit introduced by the state government will apply.

Selection Process
