Eligibility

| Medical Officer | MBBS and at least 3 years of experience after internship. Additional qualifications in Medicine or Surgery are preferable. |
| Nursing Assistant | GNM Diploma or Class I Nursing Course from the Armed Forces, and at least 5 years of experience. |
Age Limit
The maximum age for employment is 66 years for Medical Officer and 56 years for Nursing Assistant.

Selection Process
Selection is through an interview. Candidates should bring their original certificates. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.

- Complete the application form and attach self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting educational qualifications and work experience.
- Send the application by post to Station HQ (ECHS), Abohar, Punjab – 152116. It must reach the office by 16 October 2026. Late applications will not be accepted.
Applications that are unsigned, incomplete, or missing necessary documents may be rejected. The contract period is one year for ex-servicemen and 11 months for civilians. The selected Medical Officer must complete 10 days of unpaid on-the-job training with the previous incumbent and obtain a certificate before signing the contract.
