Eligibility
Appointment is on deputation, including short-term contract, for an initial period of one year. The period would ordinarily not exceed four years.
Applicants must be officers serving in a Central or State Government, Union Territory Administration, Public Sector Undertaking, recognised university or research institution, semi-government organisation, autonomous body, or statutory organisation, and must meet either of these service conditions:
- Hold an analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
- Have five years of regular service in the grade after appointment to a post in Pay Band-3 of Rs. 15,600–39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600, or equivalent, in the parent cadre or department.
